Have you ever wondered what spirits might be lurking after dark in Saco?
Saco Museum Historian, Anatole Brown, has uncovered eerie tales from the crypts that are sure to send a chill down your spine!
Join us for a spine-tingling downtown walk. Stops include Pepperell Park Cemetery where we may encounter the Lady in White, a ghostly apparition who has haunted the park since 1881.
We’ll make four stops along the way to enjoy an assortment of spooktacular drinks and savory bites. Our first haunt will be Pacifico where participants can enjoy a handcrafted cocktail, mocktail, or soda; next, we will stop at Finest Kind for snacks and beverages. From there our travels will lead us to The Saco Scoop for more fabulous creations and The Townhouse Pub, which is nestled beside the oldest house in Saco.
For just $75, you will enjoy a drink or treat at each stop and a spooky guided tour.
This is a 21+ event.
There is a 20-person capacity limit for this tour.
About the route:
The tour will begin at Pacifico at 6:30 pm. We will then walk up York Hill to Finestkind in Pepperell Square. From FinestKind, we will make our way to Pepperell Park Cemetery, then walk down Beach Street, and take a left onto Main Street. Our next stop will be The Saco Scoop in the Atkinson Building. Around 9 pm, we will arrive at our last stop of the night, The Townhouse Pub on Storer Street, where we will have our last spooky tale of the tour. The walk is approximately 1.2 miles and mostly on sidewalk minus one grassy cut through that includes a slight incline. Participants that prefer to stay on the sidewalk can walk around to meet group; tour leaders will offer assistance. All establishments are wheelchair accessible.
