Biddo Honeys performs both as a duo and a trio. Featuring 3-part harmony to a song selection that spans 40 years. The musicians:
Aja Bowley – was singing before she could say “Da-da”. But life got busy and her singing career was in mothballs. Uncle Jim said, “Aja, that’s just wrong” and “I’m gonna get us a gig”. So he did. And they gigged. And it was fun. She is a brave performer attempting the occasional new song with ZERO rehearsal at her uncle’s insistence. She enjoys rockin’ big hair tunes, blues, bombastic, as well as sweetly delivering a tear jerker.Jim O’Neil – has been playing music since the invention of Tupperware. His father played a rhythmic style of piano which drove Jim to crawl off seeking bowls and peanut cans to knock with spoons and butter knives. FYI: Butter knives have a really nice bounce. Jim drove his siblings nuts with incessant pounding & crashing for many years. Then he picked up the guitar. The family was somewhat less annoyed. An acoustic guitar proved far easier than drums for late night beach rendezvous with friends, fire and refreshments. He still plays real drums now and then but only in his basement. His wife tolerates it nicely.Byon Yeatts – has more 6 string guitars than you do. But he also knows (or did know) more songs than anyone…[fade to black]…[fade to red]…Byon has been begrudgingly playing bass for more than 6 years. He owns 1 bass guitar and plans to feature it in a bonfire soon. Cursed with a great ear for harmony, the ability to play bass and guitar, a willingness to lift and link up sound equipment, and the inability to say “NO”, he is widely used by bands/musicians seeking to legitimize themselves.
