The Holiday Festival & Parade of lights is a festive Saco tradition, blending festive daytime fun with the dazzling parade in the evening. During the daytime festival, families can enjoy story time with Santa, live carolers on Main Street, winter craft activities, the Festival of Trees at the Saco Museum, and other holiday activities before the Parade of Lights takes center stage. With glowing floats, lively dancers, and holiday displays, Main Street transforms into a winter wonderland.

Schedule of events:

• 9:30am – Saco Main Street info booth & Holiday Photo cut outs in the Swell patio
• 9:30am – Crafts at The Dyer Library/Saco Museum
• 9:30am – The Biddeford Saco Holiday Stroll – A shopping event!
• 10:00am – Festival of Lights at The Saco Museum
• 11:00am – Letters to Santa at The Saco Scoop
• 11:30am-1:30pm – Storytime with Santa at Saco City Hall
• 12:00pm – Secret Santa presented by Sherman’s Maine Coast Bookshop -Saco
• 3:00pm- Live Nativity at Post Office Park
• 4:00pm – Main Street road closure
• 4:45pm-5:45pm- Salvation Army Brass Brand near Swell patio
• 6:00pm- Parade of Lights begins: starts at corner of Beach & Main and ends at Pepperell Square
