Wayne Morphew from Southern Maine Finance Agency will lead this information session, and share more details on loans that SMFA can make to businesses as well as the SBA 504 Loan Program, which can be a helpful way for businesses to finance asset purchases in partnership with participating local banks.
As part of the discussion, Saco Economic Development Director Tracey Desjardins will provide more details on the city’s financing programs available to Saco businesses: the Small Business Grant program, the Facade Grant program, and the city’s Revolving Loan fund for businesses. In addition, owners of Finestkind restaurant in Saco will share more information on the multiple financing options they were able to access to fund the launch of their new business, as a real-world example of a successful and creative financing approach.
