Sunday, October 19 | 11am-3pm | CK Burns School
The annual Pumpkin Harvest Festival returns on October 19th in a new location: CK Burns School! Join us for a day full of autumn activities for all ages. Highlights include the enchanting pumpkin patch, the pie-eating contest, live music, pony rides, carnival area, and over 70 vendors.
Saco Main Street’s beloved Pumpkin Harvest Festival will now take place on Sunday, Oct. 19, instead of Saturday.
By moving the festival to Sunday, City staff who are crucial to the logistics and safety of this event can manage overlapping responsibilities on an active Autumn weekend. With the festival on Oct. 19, we can dedicate the attention needed to make the Pumpkin Harvest Festival a smooth and memorable experience for all.
We look forward to seeing downtown come alive with Harvest Fest’s fall celebrations. This includes an enchanting pumpkin patch, the annual pie-eating contest, live music, pony rides, a carnival area, and more than 60 vendors! As a reminder, this year’s event will be held at C.K. Burns School to allow Main Street traffic to flow as Biddeford wraps up their Elm Street construction project.
We are excited for the festival and look forward to being there with the community. A big thank you in advance goes out to Saco Main Street staff and volunteers, event vendors and participants, and the City’s Police, Fire, and Parks & Recreation departments for their hard work in making the Pumpkin Harvest Festival a wholesome, fun, and memorable gathering for everyone.
Whether you can spare an hour or an afternoon, there is a volunteer opportunity for you! From assisting to carnival games to hay bale wrangling, it’s a fun way to get involved and make autumn magic happen.
