Bursting with color, joy, and community spirit, our annual Pride in the Park kicks off the celebration of Pride Month.

From the color run, to the Maker’s Market, enjoying delicious eats from local food trucks, and dancing to the beat of the music, everyone is invited to celebrate love, diversity, and the freedom to express themselves authentically.

Pride in the Park is a free event open to all, but registration is required to participate in the Color Run.

The Color Run is a fun run suitable for all ages and experience levels — runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome! The course consists of two 0.5-mile loops of the field and features six color-blast stations of food-safe color powder.

Tips & tricks:

  • Wear white or light-colored clothing that you don’t mind getting messy — be ready to show your pride!
  • Pre-register to save (and the first 75 sign-ups will receive fun Pride in the Park swag!)
  • Kids 16 and older can participate without an adult. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a registered adult (one adult can accompany a group of siblings).
  • All participants must sign a waiver. You can download the waiver here — print it out and bring it to check-in if you can. Waivers will also be available to sign on the day of the event.

MAKER'S MARKET

We are excited to host the Pride in the Park Maker’s Market for a second year! LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and Ally crafters and artists are encouraged to apply to be vendors at this celebration of creativity and community.

About the Space & Event:

  • The Maker’s Market will be held outdoors on grass at the Foss Rd. Athletic Complex in a designated vendor area.
  • Other festival features include a color run, music by DJ Mel the British, lawn games, and food trucks.
  • The event runs from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
  • Space + Setup: Each vendor space is 10′ x 10′. Vendors must bring their own tents, tables, and display materials.
  • Tents + Weights: Tents are strongly recommended for shade and must be weighted on all four corners (minimum 30 lbs per corner).
  • Commitment: Vendors are expected to remain set up for the entire event, 12 – 4 pm.
  • Leave No Trace: Vendors must take all items, trash, and packing materials when leaving. Failure to do so may impact future invitations to Saco Main Street events.
  • Sales: Vendors are responsible for all State of Maine revenue requirements.
  • Liability: Saco Main Street and the Pride in the Park planning committee are not responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of booths, artwork, or personal items.
  • Original Work Only: artwork or products must be of your own creation, no resales or direct sales vendors, please.
  • Day-Of Guidelines: By submitting your vendor application, you agree to follow all Saco Main Street set-up and break-down guidelines, and to respect the instruction you may receive on the day of the event by Saco Main Street staff or volunteers.
  • Applications will be accepted until Friday April 24, 2026.
  • Booth assignments & maps will be emailed by Friday, May 22, 2026.
  • Electricity and WiFi is not provided, please plan accordingly.
  • Weather plan: if rain or other circumstances require postponement, vendors will be notified by May 28, 2026. The rain date is Sunday, May 31, 2026.
  • Inclusivity: Pride in the Park is a welcoming, inclusive, and family-friendly event and Saco Main Street strives to create a safe environment for all involved. Hate or harassment will not be tolerated. Saco Main Street reserves the right to ask any vendor, attendee, or participant to leave at any time.
